They were laid back, and didn’t seem nervous about the wedding. So I was thrilled when I learned that they were sharing personal vows after the ceremony. These words would be key in telling their story and showing who they are. ● The Place Their wedding took place all over Birmingham, AL. Everyone got ready at the Tutwiler hotel, and thanks to some connections made by her planner, the first look was on the roof overlooking downtown Birmingham. From there, we moved to the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church for their unique and dramatic ceremony, and as always, the reception at Iron City was amazing. ● The Story Nancy and Blake's cute and quirky vows contrast heavily with their dramatic Greek Orthodox ceremony. We became overwhelmed by the amount of respect and reverence there was at the ceremony. It was one of the most unique events that we’ve attended. There was no formal music, only silence as the bridal party entered. Then, suddenly the church was filled with the echoing voices singing the Bible in Greek with Egyptian harmonies. Since this part of the day stood out, the ceremony has it's own place in their film.
